RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Is this output logical ?

I think, it all depends on what you have in the material data for the two gases.

If you think that certian constant values are not reasonable, you can change them yourself by looking up some other references on Physics and Chemistry.

Heavier gas may store more energy per molecule.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Is this output logical ?

Dear,

I am doing a simulation for a double pane window filled with gas, i did simulation twice first i used the filled gas argon & the other simulation i used air for the same thickness which is 13MM.

while checking the output i found that the heat gain for Argon is greater than heat gain for Air under the same conditions, is this logical or not ? since argon is widely used in energy efficiency.

thanks in advance
Adam
