This may have been discussed before, but I don't know. What
is the reason why older versions of E+ can't be made available by the
development team? Couldn't they be posted with a big disclaimer that they
come with no support?
It seems reasonable that people will need older versions of a
tool like E+ occasionally to replicate old work or verify someone else's work.
Or bring somebody new onto an ongoing project that was begun with an older
version of E+. Or restore a software installation after a computer crash.
Or study how the changes between versions might have impacted certain research
through the years (and hence might need to be reexamined). Or…you
get the idea.

As long as you understand you're violating all
kinds of licensing by "distributing" versions without a license.
And, I hope you're providing support for that version.
