The reason why your schedule did not function is b ecause you have entered a colon instead of a period in the following numbers marked in red.
Schedule:Compact,
NightVent-SCH, !- Name
Fraction, !- Schedule Type Limits Name
Through: 12/31, !- Field 1
For: AllDays, !- Field 2
Until: 7:00, 1:00, !- Field 4
Until: 19:00, 0:00, !- Field 6
Until: 24:00, 1:00; !- Field 8
They were all interpreted as zero.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Scheduling for night vent
Hi All,
I have modeled a test cell for night venting. Upon running there isn't any effect with respect to my control model that does not have the night vent. I have attached my IDF file. Could help to check if the the schedule and the zone ventilation objects are well specified. Any suggestion too.
