I may be wrong.
 
When you have a window in the second zone, the received solar will be through the external and then the interior one.  This is how you get the intensity at the reference point of the example.
 
There should be two columns in the .cxv, one for each zone.  The use of the ,*, in the IDF as key should give you values for each zone. 
 
The value for the interior window should be different from the exterior one, dependent on the solar angle.  The diffused component is  resolved into a horizontal component and then through the interior window, I believe.

But "Zone Transmitted Solar Energy" is applicable only to exterior windows. So, I cannot check in this way.
