I tried the example file with the modified Output variables in the IDF.
 
Zone transmitted solar energy is listed for both the interior and the exterior zones.
However, the values for the interior zone are all zero.
 
"That is a reasonable assumption. Try it and double check results." was in
Tianzhen's reply.

I do not know whether by choosing a different algorithm for solar distribution would make any difference.  FullInteriorAndExterior is used in the current IDF.

But "Zone Transmitted Solar Energy" is applicable only to exterior windows. So, I cannot check in this way.
