[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: define a basebuilding window

EnergyPlus calculates the U-values for the window assembly based on (amongst other parameters) the U-values of the individual materials, using a standard method which takes into consideration things like inside and outside environmental conditions like temperature and surface confection. The results will differ from the surface to surface U-values of the individual materials. Also, this eplus calculation will never reach 6.92 (which is completely unrealistic in anycase), trust me I've tried. I think it maxed out at 6.5. However, for code conformance the oppertunity exists to enter the SHGC and U-values (results) directly (check the input output documentation).
