[EnergyPlus_Support] LEED compliance modeling.

I am wondering what kind of workflow is used for LEED compliance modeling.   Do people simply use the e+ online example wizard to help start the a90.1 reference building and then modify it to the actual specs.  Then use that new baseline to create the proposed model.  

Or do they build the proposed building from scratch and then build reference building by hand and using openstudio.
