[EnergyPlus_Support] Outside air flow rate in cooling loads calculations

Hi all,

I'm simulating a building located in a hot climate in order to obtain the cooling loads for two specific days: one day at the summer and the other day at the winter.

For this purpose, I'm using the ZoneHVAC:IdealLoadAirSystem .

In this object, I've specified an outside air flow rate, according to my local standards.

The results were obtained but the .err file pointed a lot of sereve errors telling that the outside air flow rate was reduced due to low supply air flow requirement at the timesteps which the load is low.

My question is:

- Is there a way to keep the outside air flow rate fixed with the value specified by me in the .idf file, in order to simulate a real case?

- What are the implications of these outside air flow rate reductions in the accuracy of my study?

Thank you very much for the attention,
Paulo Ara.
