[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Schedule 10001 - Output Value is time shifted

Thanks Dr. Li,

I have quite a few skylights which are modelled as round horizontal fenestration (i did not use the tubular objects for this). As a result the venestration to create the round surface is broken up into triangular geometries. AFN does not support flow over window objects that are not square, but this is okay because I don't have in mind that the skylights are openable. Now there is also no infiltration over them either. Therefore these nodes become unused.

I have run calculated natural ventilation simulations to proove that the ventilation through windows will satisfy the minimum are change rates even with the windows only 10% open of the small openable area of the fenestration.

Indeed this is the situation of my project. It will have no mechanical ventilation, but ASHRAE compliance forces me to model a mechanical ventilation system that will kick in when the natural ventilation is not sufficient both from a "meeting the loads" point of view and a "min. ODA" point of view.

The model that you're looking at is the baseline building.

PS I did not have trouble loading the geometry via the idf into openstudio. It doesn't recognise some of the newer objects, but notifies this with errors. Else no problem...but it takes about 20 minutes to load. I've modeled some trees and surrounding buildings which have a lot of surfaces.

Thanks again for your input.
