EnergyPlus for older processors is only useful for older
processors -- ones that will flat out not run with the distributed
EnergyPlus.

Please look at the tips on reducing execution time in the tips document
and then ask specific questions if that doesn't fulfill your
knowledge.

For interzone surfaces (surfaces between two zones that are marked as such), you can create the surface in one zone and the program will create the surface in the 2nd zone.  But it still needs both of them.

There is a tip on minimizing time to run a simulation in the Tips & Tricks document.

By and large, we have found V6 to be MUCH faster than earlier versions due to some things we have incorporated.
