[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Warning Message: air volume flow per cooling capacity out of range

All,

I was able to get the model to run when I changed the "Rated Air Flow Rate" for each of the 5 coils.

I'm now getting a lot of errors - 950,000.

example:

   ************* ** Warning ** Coil:Cooling:DX:SingleSpeed "9085 AHU COOLING COIL" - Air volume flow rate per watt of rated total cooling capacity is out of range error continues...
   *************  **   ~~~   **   This error occurred 228990 total times;
   *************  **   ~~~   **   during Warmup 0 times;
   *************  **   ~~~   **   during Sizing 0 times.
   *************  **   ~~~   **   Max=2.055983E-005  Min=1.922954E-005
   *************
   ************* ** Warning ** Coil:Cooling:DX:SingleSpeed "9085 AHU COOLING COIL" - Full load outlet temperature indicates a possibility of frost/freeze error continues. Outlet air temperature statistics follow:
   *************  **   ~~~   **   This error occurred 10568 total times;
   *************  **   ~~~   **   during Warmup 0 times;
   *************  **   ~~~   **   during Sizing 0 times.
   *************  **   ~~~   **   Max=1.99968  Min=-11.578451

As you can see, none of these errors occur during "warmup" or "sizing".

I don't know that there's a way to get rid of these errors with the "work around" that I'm using. I also looked at the outputs of the model and it doesn't seem to be effecting the outputs. Can anyone offer guidance?

Thanks again.

Brendan

In the E+ idf file that is the only location that I can find to change the supply flow. It seems to be where E+ pulls it from DB.
