Start here: http://apps1.eere.energy.gov/buildings/energyplus/weatherdata_about.cfm

Navigate to your country and the city of your project, then select the Zip file and download it.  Once you unzip, you will see a .ddy file.

 

Once you have the .ddy, start IDF Editor and then open the .ddy.  Notice that IDF Editor defaults to looking for a .idf file extension.  You’ll need to change it to look for a design day (.ddy) extension

 

Opening a file in IDF Editor normally looks like:

I can't find the content of .ddy file in my country's weather data that I request from E+ ( .ZIP ),, it is empty..
so, what should I do? where I can find the information of ddy file,,?
