[EnergyPlus_Support] outside boundary condition

Hi. I have a 3 story model in open studio where adjacent surfaces are my question.  For horizontal surfaces (ceiling + floor), should they be defined as the same (ceiling)?  And should they have an outdoor boundary condition of "zone"?  I am defining these in object info. 

 

I am going to do loading calculations and then an energy analysis.  Should I have a schedule for each and turn off the one that does not apply? 

 

I know these are easy questions.  Gotta start somewhere!
