[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Controlling windows in one zone based on the temperature of a non-adjacent zone

Lixing:

Thank you very much for your reply. I will definitely try to use EMS. However, I would like to know if using the AvailabilityManager:HybridVentilation might help. I was intending to use the HVAC template objects to define an HVAC system to cool the PDEC zone and use the AvailabilityManager:HybridVentilation to control its operation. I was wondering if it is possible to input the name of this HVAC system serving the PDEC zone in the HVAC Air Loop Name Field while using the OFFICE zone as input in the Controlled Zone Name Field. In other words, can the zone controlling the HVAC system be different from the zone served by the that same system?

Thanks

Omar
