If you have not started alike, its a better way to start with a reference file and work on it to make it as suitable to your building. Also you can compare your idf with the most nearly similar energyplus example file/reference file. Check the excel file in example file folder.

In E+, you can remove the plenum zone from Sizing:Zone and ZoneControl:Thermostat. After that, you can follow errors/warnings (if any) to further debug your idf.
