[EnergyPlus_Support] Gas Consumption at Zero for March thru November

Hello,

I am currently calibrating a simulation model in which there is gas and electric energy sources.  The electric consumption is calibrated with the actual measured consumption of the building, however the gas is way off.  After splitting the space heating and the hot water gas consumption, I have found that space heating consumes zero gas March through November.  The building is in Washington DC, so this goes without saying that this is not normal.

Any suggestions of areas to fix the problem?

I have already adjusted the heating setpoint schedule, but this does not fix the problem.  My thought is the R-Values are so high (26 for the walls and 33 for the roofs) that this is the reason for minimal heating?  What other areas can I adjust to fix this problem?

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks,
