Actually I tried surface int convective rate for the zone surfaces. Then I also tried
the heat gains through windows, in order to compare the two types of heat gains
and see which is higher. so I sum the heat gains of the opaque surfaces and make a graph with
the window heat gains. But the outputs of the surface conv heat rate are around 1-20 watts for each surface.
Is that normal?

What variable do your -5 to 300W refer to? Before you sum Window Heat Gain/Loss, you should convert the Window Heat loss to negatives. Then verify that the sum of Window Heat Gain/Loss for all the windows in a zone is equal to the Zone Window Heat Gain/Loss.

For comparison, the units have to the same. The units of output variables for Energy and Gain/Loss rates are different. Happy comparing, ooi
