[EnergyPlus_Support] Radiant Floor and Radiant Ceiling



Dear All, 

If I have adjacent interzone surface a and b, a is ceiling, and b is floor, could I define surface a in a radiant system, and surface b in another radiant system? I have checked my object: zone hvac low temperature radiant: variable flow, and I didn't use the same surface twice at there.

That is what I did when I created the idf file, and I got following err msg:

  ** Severe  ** Surface A CEILING: CENTER is referenced by more than one radiant system--this is not allowed
   ** Severe  ** Interzone surface A INTERIOR FLOOR: LANGAR 1 is referenced by more than one radiant system--this is not allowed
   ** Severe  ** Surface B INTERIOR CEILING: INFANT 1 is referenced by more than one radiant system--this is not allowed
   ** Severe  ** Interzone surface B INTERIOR FLOOR: L3 is referenced by more than one radiant system--this is not allowed
   ** Severe  ** Surface B INTERIOR CEILING: INFANT 3 is referenced by more than one radiant system--this is not allowed
   ** Severe  ** Interzone surface B INTERIOR FLOOR: L1 is referenced by more than one radiant system--this is not allowed
   ** Severe  ** Surface B INTERIOR FLOOR: E1 is referenced by more than one radiant system--this is not allowed
   ** Severe  ** Interzone surface B INTERIOR CEILING: TODDLER is referenced by more than one radiant system--this is not allowed
   ** Severe  ** Surface B INTERIOR FLOOR: E3 is referenced by more than one radiant system--this is not allowed
   ** Severe  ** Interzone surface B INTERIOR CEILING: PRESCHOOL is referenced by more than one radiant system--this is not allowed
   **  Fatal  ** GetLowTempRadiantSystem: Errors found in input. Preceding conditions cause termination.

I remember there was someone used to talk about multiply hvac system, but I didn't find the place to input the multiple number. If I can't put the adjacent surfaces into two different radiant system.  Thanks for all your help. My idf file is attached if any necessary, there are lots of node connection problems I haven't correct them yet.
