[EnergyPlus_Support] Can I make a reasonable model of......
Dear Forum,
I have a client who would like to model:
- A desiccant dehumidifier providing (dry) air to
- An indirect evaporative cooler
- The desiccant dehumidifier will be regenerated by a photvoltaic solar array with battery storage powering an electric heater
This model includes two components that I have not previously modeled (PV and desiccant), so I want to anticipate weaknesses and potential problems.
So far, it seems that I'll need to:
- make sure I can properly model the PV performance, including storage of unused energy
- properly model the desiccant performance with a wide assortment of entering and regeneration conditions, especially due to the PV energy variability
Will those of you with experience in any of these technologies please let me know where the difficulties and challenges lie? Which aspects are particularly important?
Thanks in advance!
