Try simulating the facade with a wall a tiny bit bigger.

eg for a wall 10x10m asign a window 9,9x9,9m.

 

this is open to more suggestions.

Hey all,

I am using E+ as part of my dissertation thesis were I have to assess the energy performance of an existing building. The main side of this building is fully glazed; it uses double glazed alouminium framed curtain wall.

Since I did not know how to present this I made a wall construction using Low E tint glass, air gap and Low E 6mm clear. However, when I run the simulation I get a severe error of having window materials in the wall.

Any ideas as to how to overcome this?
