I am modeling a zone which uses a Low Temp radiant object for primary cooling with UnitaryFurnace HeatCool as a backup heating/cooling system.
I want the fan on the Unitary Furnace to cycle, and run only with load.
My fan object if Fan:OnOff.
The ZonHVACEquipment list object lists the LowTemp radiant as 1 and the Unitary as 2.
When the unitary furnace Fan schedule is set to 0 the fan stays off all year, and no cooling or heating is provided. The space has many unmet load hours. The variables show 0 run hours for the fan and 0 heating and cooling supplied by the Unitary unit.
When the Fan schedule is revised to 1, heating and cooling is provided when demanded, the unmet load hours are 0, and the fan runs continously all year.
How do I enable fan cycling?
