Hello All
My intention is to use EMS (also known as "Erl") to implement a dyanmic algorithm which is supposed to read weather forecast data (probably outdoor temperature with 6 hours fixed interval) given that the forecast data is assumed to be available already.
My question is whether we can define and use array variables within a EMS program. I am willing to hardcode the forecast data within my EMS program. For example, "W" is defined as an array and "W[0]" represents the outdoor temperature at six hours later from now, followed by "W[1]" representing the outdoor temperature twelve hours later and so on.
My algorithm then defines a global variable as an index that is used to count the number of monitoring points every time as well as indicate the current position of the array and then increase the index with passage of time so that I think the algorithm is let read the value of the arrary corresponding to the increasing index.
Thank you in advance
Ahrong.
