If you are not an advanced user of EPlus, you can forget it for the time being.
================= For the I/O ref manual statement: In another word, in Summer for example, when the outside temperature is hot, you can use the outdoor current condition to reduce the hot water tank supply temperature from 80°C to 65°C to save energy usage. (Domestic hot water) or shut it off completely (Heating system). There are many such applications or controls in the EPlus simmulation. ==================== For the other question: Dear members i mean i dnt undrestand the concpet of supply air tempersture in plant loop ? i think in plant loop we have only water not air , what supply air refer ? In the plant loop, there are air cooled condenser coil, air cooled tower, etc. I am not sure whether the supply air was specifically mentioned as the air loop supply air to a zone, that triggered your question.
Some HVAC system has no plant loops. A naturally vented building do not have HVAC and can be very comfortable, and simulated with AFN in EPlus.. i read in inputoutpur refrence document of e+ that "if the system is to be controlled bye outside dry bulb temperature , an abjectnode list can be used to define a node which will have the current outdoor condition "
could you pleas help me in how i could do it ?
