Dear all,
I added a DHW loop in E+ model, so I have 2 water heaters and several outlets as "wateruse:equipment". I wasn't sure what to enter for the "Peak flow rate" for each outlet, is it related with the "Use side Design Flow Rate" as an input of class "waterheater:mixed"?
I would expect that modeling the demand side of DHW loop is kinda of similar with modeling lighting system, you would input a demand density number, such as Gal/ft2-day, then by multiplying the zone area, we get the peak flow rate, etc, and by multiplying a schedule, we get amount of DHW demand for each hour, right?
Thanks in advance.
