RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Asking about Air Loop DX Cooling Coil Electric Consumption

Hi, Malindo

Just by the reading the name:

Air loop DX is an air DX coil.  This one usually is associated with COP for conversion.

Dx (Direct expansion) coil can be in water and other fluid as well.  This one with EIR.

You may be able to comfirm this by the system they are involved in the simulation.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Asking about Air Loop DX Cooling Coil Electric Consumption

Hi all,

I found that in my RDD file, there are Air Loop DX Cooling Coil Electric Consumption and DX Cooling Coil Electric Consumption. I don't quite know what is the difference between them. I tried to read the manual but it was not so clear.

Anyone know the difference?

Thanks in advance.
