[EnergyPlus_Support] Frame and Divider?
Hello support group,
I have a problem concerning the Frame and divider object. I am not sure what values to put into the fields: "Frame Conductance" and "Ratio of Frame-Edge Glass Conductance to Center-Of Glass Conductance".
I have created a window in WINDOW 6.3 and this program can report these values. This works all right but I dont understand the values so I am unsure if I dare to use them.
In WINDOW 6.3 I calculate the following values:
U-center =1,934 W/m2K
U-Frame =1,995 W/m2K
U-Edge =2,343 W/m2K
But in the reported Energyplus file I get the following data:
Frame Conductance =2,915 W/m2K
Ratio of Frame-Edge Glass Cond.to Center-Of-Glass Cond. =1,336
I would have thought U-Frame was equal to Frame Conductance and that U-Edge/U-center = Ratio of Frame-Edge to Center-Of-Glass Cond.
Can anyone see what I am missing?
Best regards
Michael
