[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: AHU air temperature control

Good question. The temperature setpoint is applied to that node for that timestep to best reach the zone heating setpoint (in the case of using the multizone-heating setpoint manager, and the cooling setpoint in the case of using the cooling setpoint manager. The effect becomes apparent if you reference the setpoint on this node by your MixedAirSetpointManager which could for example be used to control your outdoor air mixing damper to best control the mixing to reach that setpoint. For example if your zone heating setpoint were 18 deg and the cooling setpoint were 26 deg, you may find using the multizone heating setpoint manager will give zone temps at around 18 deg, where as if you used the multizone cooling setpoint manager, they may pan out at 26 deg.
