Did you check the expanded IDF? I don’t use templates, but I think they probably create a Sizing object.

There are no duplicates in either the IDF editor nor the Text editor which made me assume that the HVACtemplates would create Sizing:Zone components during the simulation run, thus creating the duplicates and in the end causing the error. I can not delete the original Size:zone components because they are used for the Fan Coils.
