[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: OA controller and Heat Recovery

When you read the io ref of the ODA controller, it explains many options available to you.

You need to consider the real system configuration (which is a high debate topic even in real life). Is the heat exchanger (in the supply flow direction) before or after the mixing box? There are options to limit both maximum and minimum recirculation. There are options (under the econimizer) to flip the mixing damper to the maximum ODA possition when it is benificail to do so. There are even options to bypass the heat exchanger (or turn it off) depending on the dT of exhaust air and air temp leaving the mixing box.

Sorry I'm on my phone and can't give you correct details. Bottom line is you must think of how you want it to operate and then check the IO ref.
