RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Partially opened windows modulated by a schedule

Had you try with the ventilation control mode ? temp, enthalpy, constant, adaptive model????

I have not tried it but I guess - if schedule type "continuous" is set as the venting availability schedule type, then, even at "Constant" ventilation control mode, the leakage should correspond to the fractional value given in the schedule. Have you tried in it this way also? And then, do you see any difference with the default discrete type ON/OFF schedule?

I found I/O isn't very direct in explaining this point. But if you want, you can try. Let us also know if it works! :)

Correction. The temperature limits are schedules. You don't have to change them with EMS...they can stay set. I was looking at velocity modulation.

I don't think there is a way to change the opening area with a schedule directly. The only way that I can think of is to use the temperature scheme and change the temperature limits via EMS...I looked into this a while ago, due to another problem I was having. The problem was solved without imploying the EMS so I didn't have to complete it...VERY time consuming to do this at zone level.
