[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Ventilated loft space - no infiltration through ceiling

Thanks for your persistence!

There certainly is node-to-node flow. It does not seem to count towards outdoor air exchange, though.

Due to the other problem (window schedules) I have some windows controlled at zone level and others at surface level - but here, I was going with NoVent for all zones - assuming that this will only effect LVO, but not cracks.
Some code:

AirflowNetwork:MultiZone:Surface:Crack,
    C_Wall ext,              !- Name
    0.000276628,             !- Air Mass Flow Coefficient at Reference Conditions {kg/s}
    0.65;                    !- Air Mass Flow Exponent {dimensionless}

AirflowNetwork:MultiZone:Surface:Crack,
    C_Ceiling,               !- Name
    0.000184419,             !- Air Mass Flow Coefficient at Reference Conditions {kg/s}
    0.65;                    !- Air Mass Flow Exponent {dimensionless}

AirflowNetwork:MultiZone:Surface,
    9Ceiling,                !- Surface Name
    C_Ceiling,               !- Leakage Component Name
    ,                        !- External Node Name
    1,                       !- Window/Door Opening Factor, or Crack Factor {dimensionless}
    ZoneLevel,               !- Ventilation Control Mode
    , !- Ventilation Control Zone Temperature Setpoint Schedule Name
    ,                        !- Minimum Venting Open Factor {dimensionless}
    ,                        !- Indoor and Outdoor Temperature Difference Lower Limit For Maximum Venting Open Factor {deltaC}
    100,                     !- Indoor and Outdoor Temperature Difference Upper Limit for Minimun Venting Open Factor {deltaC}
    ,                        !- Indoor and Outdoor Enthalpy Difference Lower Limit For Maximum Venting Open Factor {deltaJ/kg}
    300000;                  !- Indoor and Outdoor Enthalpy Difference Upper Limit for Minimun Venting Open Factor {deltaJ/kg}

Could you post a text exerpt of the idf here so I can see what objects you are using and which controls? for example are you controlling ventilation at surface or zone level?
