All,
I'm very excited about the new heat pump units that allow for variable speed operation that comes with v7.1. I have a model I'm working on that I've been kind of fudging for a year.
There was an excel macro sheet that used to be available on the helpserve site to help derive the performance coefficients for the single speed versions. Does something like this exist for the new variable speed objects yet?
Coil:Cooling:WaterToAirHeatPump:VariableSpeedEquationFit
Coil:Heating:WaterToAirHeatPump:VariableSpeedEquationFit
If not, is there at least an example derivation of these curves from some dummy data so I can make sure I'd be doing this correctly? Is there a nominal amount of data point that should exist in each of these performance curves?
Thanks,
Luke
