[EnergyPlus_Support] Does EnergyPlus reduce infiltration when the mechanical ventilation is on?

Dear EnergyPlus users,

I am modeling a residential building with the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC 2012)required infiltration and ventilation. I used the Indoor Air Quality Procedure option of EnergPlus as the Outdoor Air Method in EnergyPlus to calculate the outside air (mechanical ventilation) requirement of the house to reduce the CO2 contamination in each zone to an acceptable level (700ppm+ outside air concentration i.e. 395.77ppm). In this house, I also used the AirflowNetwork:Multizone model to simulate the air flows (infiltration) through the fenestration system of the house. My questions are:

While determining the outside air requirement of this house, does EnergyPlus consider the C02 removal already achieved with infiltration?... or does it assume zero infiltration for these calculations?

In real life, the mechanical ventilation positively pressurizes the building which reduces the infiltration ACH in the house. Does EnergyPlus reduce the infiltration ACH when the mechanical ventilation is on?

I would appreciate it very much if you could help me with these questions.

Thanks you very much in advance for your help,
Best Regards,
