Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Strange error = window vertices - but why?





Mostapha- thank you much- I forgot I had that object in here as it is there just in case I want to use it.. (that is why the fin depth is so very small)
I am now experimenting to get it as small as possible so I can parametricly study no shading vs various shading (it runs so that is good)  thanks again-

Your shading cause the problem. the extension from the window is 0 for left and right. If you read the error again it is about surface="FIN Left". Fix the lines below. start at line 2286 in your file.

But I want to use a blind with glare shading control and the window is operable with air flow network- will "window" work for this?

Window and
WIndow:Interzone

you define the window by length and height - relative to the surface
origin on which it sits.
