The ?Induced Air Outlet Node?? is optional and may remain blank.
The Error is referring to the next field, the ?Inlet 1 Node Name?, which is the node for air leaving the zone and would be the same name as the ?Zone Return Air node Name? in ZoneHVAC:EquipmentConnections.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] AirLoopHVAC:ReturnPlenum 7.0 to 7.1 transition
The AirloopHVAC:ReturnPlenum in version 7.1 has a new input called Induced Air Outlet Node or NodeList Name.
The translation tool left it blank, but when I try to run E+, it gives me the error:
** Severe ** Error detected in Object=AirLoopHVAC:ReturnPlenum, name=VAV_1 Return Plenum
** ~~~ ** Field [Inlet 1 Node Name] is required but was blank.
Any help will be appreciated
