"Availability Manager Night Cycle Control Status", IO Ref 1411/1932.
In you input file, coils, fan, and heatpump have availability
schedule '10002" which is off in the night. In order for night cycle
to work, coils and heatpump should be available in the night.
So only fan should have availability schedule 10002 and everything
as '2' in your file. This should reduce unmet setpoint hours.
Night cycle only turns on the fan. It does not turn on the coils.

Jim,

Chandan, where
do I see the Night cycle status output?
What is Night cycle availability status output
when the fan is scheduled off? Just to make sure
that night cycle manager is cycling the fan on
when zone temperature are beyond setpoint +/-
(0.5*tolerance).

I
suspect that a schedule is keeping the fan
off when it should be on. I am willing to
take a look at your file to see what might
be happening.

Jim,
The problem is that the result shows
that the temperature during unnocupied
hour fall out of the setpoint.
Addionaly the Time Setpoint Not Met
during unnocupied hour is 864,50
hours.
Thanks,

G3.1.2.4 Fan Sytem Operation from
ASHRAE 90.1-2007, where the fan needs
to operate continuosly whenever spaces
are occupied and shall cycled to meet
heating and cooling loads during
unoccupied hours, I used the
AvailabilityManager:NightCycle tool
with control type CycleOnControlZone.
However checking the annual results,
the fan didn't cycle at any time
during unnocupied hour. Does anyone
know what happened? I have tried use
the fan type ON/OFF to comply with the
item, but the result was the same.
