This sort of issue is one of the uses for the EnergyManagementSystem:InternalVariable object. There is an internal variable available called “Pump Maximum Mass Flow Rate” that can provide the result of the autosize value for each pump. From: EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Nacho Gomis Hello group, I'm trying to generate a default idf to be simulated with several weathers. This IDF contains an EMS to override the condenser flow rate, I set an variable flow rate. So my EMS sets the flow rate depending on my own rules. The problem now it is I have a successful IDF for one weather, running without errors but this model doesn't have any autosize field for the pumps, I have filled all the autosize fields. When I try to set, for example the Rated Flow Rate, to autosize I would need to reference my minimun flow rate, which is set in my EMS code, with a value from a EnergyPlus sensor. For exaple the 10% of the nominal flow rate. Could someone help me with this issue? P.S.: I have attached the working IDF and its weather. __._,_.___ Primary EnergyPlus support is found at: http://energyplus.helpserve.com or send a message to energyplus-support@xxxxxxxx The primary EnergyPlus web site is found at: http://www.energyplus.gov The group web site is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EnergyPlus_Support/ Attachments are currently allowed but be mindful that not everyone has a high speed connection.
