Hi Geert,
If each zone is demanding different air volumes which vary across the day AND the sum total varies, then obviously you can't usually use a fan system that is constant volume (CAV). For CAV the total must remain the same. A CAV system with variable terminal dampers in the zones will probably require a duct bypass around the AHU (I think this can be realised in e+) so that when the max demand sum from the zones drops below the max of the CAV fan, it can be blown straight out the exhaust.
