I also have some experience in writing a parser in C++, after all is not so hard but tedious.
In my case the most useful information was the energyplus documentation, and the NREL OpenStudio source code, which is distributed  through SVN.

JEplus looks like a launching platform. Despite the fact that there is no source code, It doesn't seem to represent the IDF file into a detailed object oriented model (or am I wrong?). The Python project sounds interesting, though it won't meet my project calendar and aims... Thank you all for your answers.
