[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Import of actual-measured data
Georgiou,
A simple concept of Operative Temperature is that it is the average of the Mean Radiant Temperature (MRT) and Air Temperature.
If you have the Air Temperature and want to estimate the Operative Temperature, then you need the MRT
A simulation in EnergyPlus can generate all three. So, if you want to set your indoor Air temperature to those that you measure, i suppose you can do what Karen says. The MRT depends on the inside surface, or inside face temperatures, which a simulation can output.
Does this address your intention to 'import' your measured data and set them for a zone?
regards
ooi
