[EnergyPlus_Support] Daylighting device: Tubular (Solatube)

Dear All,

Has anyone already modeled a daylighting device (tubular) such as Solatube (http://www.solatube.com/)?

I was going to model it using the daylightdevice:tubular, but the manufacturer is not able to provide domus/difuser and pipe characteristics separately, he only has Energy Star energy performance ratings such as U-value and SHGC for the entirely system. He suggested that I should simplify and model a roof window with these characteristics, as- he says- that Energyplus would not be able to simulate Solatube in detail considering the non-linear reflections that it produces in the pipe.

Does anyone have any suggestion about this?
