Indeed, in version 8.1 you can choose to limit a lowTemperatureRadiant circuit to a certain length. Energyplus calculates the number of circuits I presume. But to do what…? I’ve the impression that this doesn’t change anything and that no extra reporting is generated Best regards, Geert Bellens Van: EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Namens Andy Tindale Just to add to what Jean says, you can generate HVAC node temperature outputs in DesignBuilder by checking the "HVAC System temperatures" option under Miscellaneous Outputs on the Output tab of Simulation options dialog. I think you may need to use v3.3 beta test versions to access this. You can view the return water temperatures in DesignBuilder using the Results Viewer. Instructions for use can be found at: http://www.designbuilder.co.uk/helpv3.3/#ResultsProcessor.htm HW Loop Demand side outlet temperatures will give you the return hot water loop temperatures. Re: DesignBuilder 1) Best ask the DB forum... 2) I think the latest versions running e+ v8.0 should include a maximum circuit length. The active area gets used to automatically calculate the number of circuits. 3) there is also a Alpha results viewer from DB 4) you can save extra output variable declarations in a text file with a idf extention in your DB e+ folder and use the include idf dialogue in DB to include this file's text.
