[EnergyPlus_Support] Building rotation



Hi all,

I have a model that I know is exactly square, and the same on all sides.

When I use the North Axis field in the Building object class to test out rotations,

I find that the result is not exactly the same, although its certainly close enough for me, within 0.5%

I have seen other postings in the forum discussing this issue, and am wondering if anyone has been able to resolve this difference, and, if not,

if anyone knows when during the calculation process does the rotation occur? hopefully before any sizing or shadowing calculations?

We tried this with the DOE reference building model (also square office) and saw the same discrepancy
