Hi all,Another question on E+ GSHP modelling:
I can see it is possible to model a single GSHP system with more than one heating-only or cooling-only water-to-water heat pump plants connecting to one ground loop heat exchanger.
If for example, one cooling-only and one heating-only heat pumps are used in one GSHP system with just one connected ground loop heat exchanger, can both heat pumps work simultaneously (ex-charge/discharge to ground loop heat exchanger at the same time) (practical case as I know is to use a switch valve to change the heat pump to either heating mode or cooling mode as required, but not for both)? If yes, what is the benefit/disadvantage of using it? And what the potential problem would be please?
The observation shows the returning water temperature from ground loop heat exchanger will be the same for heating-only and cooling-only heat pump inlet nodes.
Any advice/comments on above are welcomed.
Sean
