[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: ASHRAE 90.1 Climate Zone Code

Dear Linda, Rahsan, Jean and Jason,
Thank you very much for all your replies.
In order to do right baseline opaque/fenestration constructions (closely climate related), it now makes sense that the climate zone (number may or may not be followed by a letter) must be chosen from ASHRAE 90.1 Standard (E+ weather stat file does not often reflect the up-to-date weather conditions or differs from the conditions ASHRAE is using, or it has simply been converted by some mechanisms).
For the weather file, we need to select/download one from E+ for an exact modeling location or as close as possible to where the model building is located, which is easy (not for a non popular location though) for us to implement.
I would like to confirm this as a settled case, but still be happy to hear different voices.
