Yes and in addition you would produce 40W heat instead of 8W.  In the highly insulated project I am working on, this increased heat matters.

So, in your example, if you used 10 of your 1W LEDs in a daylight zone, you'd input 10W as your lighting power in the lights object, and if you used 10 INC 5W lamps, you'd input 50W. Everything else would stay the same.
