I am trying to model a complex HVAC system to evaluate annual performance in climatic zone 1A. Here are some details on system arrangements and operational priority:
- The central plant has two chillers generating chilled water at 15/19 degC and 6/12 degC.
- Each floor will be served by UFAD and Ceiling supply Radiant system. The UFAD supplied with AHU supply chilled water temperature of 6/12 degC whereas Ceiling Radiant system with chilled water supply of 15/19 degC to cater Sensible and Latent Heat inside thermal zone.
- There is DOAS installed to cater OA load. The DOAS AHU coil will be supplied with two chilled water supply, one at 15/19degC and second at 6/12degC.
Has anyone successfully modeled such mechanical configuration in Eplus. I would appreciate to get expert advice on following points:
- Is it possible to model above plant configuration in EPlus?
- Is it possible to create two loop supply at different temperature for a Air Handling Unit?
- Is it possible to create two systems operating simultaneously for a zone in EPlus?
