Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] New EnergyPlus Resource: UnmetHours.com

Jean,

Unmet Hours is intended for any question related to building performance simulation, including any questions people may have on LEED compliance, or the ASHRAE Standards. It is not exclusive to questions about any specific simulation tool, e.g., EnegyPlus. The "tag" system allows the community to categorize questions in a meaningful way so that other users can easily find answers related to their interests.

Love it. I recently completed a survey for USGBC where it asked what additional resources would be helpfull. And I said, an ASHRAE standard dedicated forum, particularly for 90.1 App. G, but also for the rest of 90.1, 62.1, 55 and the others. I like the catagorized layout of LEEDuser, search by the year of the system, the system and then the subsections of the system.

Will this forum be specifically for e+ software or generally?

For those looking for an additional EnergyPlus resource, www.unmethours.com launched at the ASHRAE/IPBSA-USA Building Simulation Conference. The site provides a question and answer resource similar to StackOverflow for the larger building energy modeling community.
