Thank you very much Chandan!
It works!

Felipe,

Yes, this is possible. In the expanded idf, you can schedule the fan coil water heating coil to stay off and add electric baseboard heater in ZoneHVAC:EquipmentList. Also adjust cooling and heating sequence in ZoneHVAC:EquipmentList.

Thanks,
Chandan

Dear Group,

I need to model a 2 pipe fan coil unit with an electric resistance for heating. I initially modeled it as a HVAC Template:Zone:Fan Coil with a electric boiler and with a with 0W pump power. The LEED reviewer told me that, since energyplus is able to model a electric resistance on a fan coil unit, I should model it as it is. He suggest me to turn off the water heating coil and that I simply insert the Coil:Heating:Electric on a expanded IDF.

 Is that possible?

Has any of you have tried this before?

Kind Regards,

Felipe Durán
