yes. objects that define airflow have no connection to objects that define shading. you could write EMS to create dependancies via algorithms which (for example) effect schedules for ventilation based on shading schedules, positions, etc., but an inherrent connection does not exist.

Furthermore, infalling solar does not pass through the "opening" of an open window. The window is always there and always "closed". This is all just a program...think 1's and 0's.

So Jean, am i right in thinking that if i model windows open and blinds down (ie shade enabled) E+ won't consider the effect of the blind object on the airflow into the space?
